I think I may've numbered things incorrectly - I have done things 5,6,& 7 (Flikr and the technology related blog post) so am now up to RSS. I have signed up for a Bloglines account and I have added an RSS feed for ABC "At the movies"!

I am trying to get my head around e-books at the moment, and have found a website that is very basic in its explanation of e-books, but also gives me the resources to write, publish and sell my e-book - so beware. I am now attempting Flikr mashups - I have gone into Flikr and "geotagged" a photo (still from my childhood) of the winding metal road that we used to drive in the summer from Waingaro to the beach at Raglan. It was a very slow trip (road often only 1 car wide) and not to be recommended if you suffer from car sickness!

It has taken me 5 months to get to this next stage, but I am now up to the thrills of Flikr .. and the major excitement is that I have found a photo of my "roots" - from the "land of the long white cloud" I have found a photo of the hot springs at Waingaro (where my great-granfather built the hotel), and a photo of a beautiful Aberdeen Angus beast (just like the ones we had on the farm) - very exciting!

After an inordinate amount of time spent trying to find an unused blog URL, I have finally made it on to the screen.

Apparently I am meant to nominate my easiest and hardest lifelong learning habits ...

easiest = accept responsibility for your own learning
hardest = create my own learning toolbox ( I don't have any plans to put digital camera onto the shopping list ... new shoes and a holiday rate a little higher at the moment!)
